في تمام الساعة 6:54 صباحًا، وصلت مجموعة من المهاجمين إلى الجانب الجنوبي الشرقي من القاعدة، وزرعوا قنبلة على جدارها المحيط في محاولة لهدمه. إلا أن الانفجار لم ينجح في تدمير الجدار. بعد عدة دقائق، تمكن الإرهابيون الأوائل من اقتحام القاعدة من مدخلها الخلفي في جنوب المنشأة. وكانت القوات متمركزة بالفعل في المنطقة، وتبادلت إطلاق النار مع المهاجمين. ____ At 6:54 a.m., a group of attackers reached the southeast side of the base, and planted a bomb on its perimeter wall, in an attempt to bring it down. The explosion did not succeed in destroying the wall. Several minutes later, the first terrorists managed to breach the base from its back entrance in the south of the facility. Troops were already stationed in the area and exchanged fire with the attackers.

في تمام الساعة الثالثة بعد الظهر، وصل أفراد وحدة الهندسة القتالية النخبة "ياهالوم" إلى القاعدة وبدأوا بتفتيشها. لم يعثر الجنود على أي مهاجم حيّ خلال عمليات التفتيش، وعثروا على الجنود المختبئين في الملجأ. وبحلول الساعة السابعة مساءً، نقل جنود "ياهالوم" جميع جنود مكتب الاتصال في غزة إلى مفترق طرق "يد مردخاي"، ونُقل الجرحى إلى المستشفيات. وبحلول الساعة الحادية عشرة مساءً، أُعيدت قيادة القاعدة إلى الوحدة الإقليمية. ____ At 3 p.m., members of the elite Yahalom combat engineering unit reached the base and began to search it. The troops did not encounter any living attacker during their searches, and they found the soldiers who were hiding in the bomb shelter. By 7 p.m., the Yahalom soldiers brought all the Gaza liaison office soldiers to the Yad Mordechai Junction, and those wounded were taken to hospitals. By 11 p.m., the command over the base was returned to the regional unit.

At around 10:45 a.m, another group of some 15 Hamas Combatants infiltrated the kibbutz from the back entrance, heading for the industrial and agricultural area in the south of Alumim. The terrorists set fire to the kibbutz’s barns and packing center. At 11:40 a.m, soldiers of the Paratroopers Brigade’s 890th Battalion were airlifted to the Alumim area by helicopters. After disembarking, the troops exchanged fire with Combatants outside Alumim. Shortly after, members of the Israeli Air Force’s elite Shaldag unit, who were trying to head to Be’eri, came under fire at Alumim. ___ حوالي الساعة 10:45 صباحًا، تسللت مجموعة أخرى، قوامها نحو 15 مقاتلًا من حماس، إلى الكيبوتس من المدخل الخلفي، متجهةً إلى المنطقة الصناعية والزراعية جنوب ألوميم. أشعل الإرهابيون النار في حظائر الكيبوتس ومركز التعبئة. في الساعة 11:40 صباحًا، نُقل جنود الكتيبة 890 التابعة للواء المظليين جوًا إلى منطقة ألوميم بواسطة مروحيات. بعد نزولهم، تبادلت القوات إطلاق النار مع المقاتلين خارج ألوميم. بعد ذلك بوقت قصير، تعرض أفراد وحدة شالداغ "النخبة" التابعة لسلاح الجو الإسرائيلي، الذين كانوا يحاولون التوجه إلى بئري، لإطلاق نار في ألوميم.

في تمام الساعة 7:10 صباحًا، اشتبك خمسة من أفراد فرقة الدفاع المحلي في مفالسيم مهاجمين عند مدخل الكيبوتس. وبعد فترة وجيزة، أُصيب جنديان خارج الخدمة أثناء صدهم لمحاولة التسلل عبر البوابة الخلفية للكيبوتس. تمكن نحو 30 مهاجما من التسلل إلى الكيبوتس في تمام الساعة 8 صباحًا عبر البوابة الرئيسية، واختطفوا 12 عاملًا أجنبيًا. حاولت مجموعة أخرى من الهاجمين مؤلفة من 12 التسلل من الجنوب الغربي في تمام الساعة 9:25 صباحًا، لكن فريق الأمن المحلي تمكن من صدهم، وقتل وجرح عددًا من المهاجمين. _____ At 7:10 a.m., five members of the local defense unit in Mefalsim engaged attackers at the kibbutz entrance. Shortly afterward, two off-duty soldiers were wounded while repelling an infiltration attempt through the kibbutz's rear gate. At 8:00 a.m., approximately 30 attackers managed to infiltrate the kibbutz through the main gate and abducted 12 foreign workers. At 9:25 a.m., another group of 12 attackers attempted to infiltrate from the southwest, but the local security team repelled them, killing and wounding several of the attackers.

The combined efforts of a company from the locally stationed Golani Brigade, the community's reserve unit, and incoming military and police reinforcements prevented Hamas militants from penetrating the kibbutz or advancing toward additional targets.

حاولت بعض قوات الدعم المتمركزة في القاعدة الوصول إلى معبر إيرز والالتقاء بحراس الأمن التابعين لوزارة الدفاع، إلا أنها لم تتمكن من ذلك بسبب إطلاق النار. استدارت القوات وبدأت بالتوجه نحو بلدة نتيف هاسارا المجاورة، حيث وردت أنباء عن عملية إقتحام. ____ Some of the backup troops stationed in the base tried to reach the Erez Crossing and meet up with the Defense Ministry security guards, though they were unable to due to the gunfire. The troops turned around and began to head for the nearby community of Netiv Haasara, where an infiltration was reported.

نهاية معركة عدن بتحرير مطار عدن ومحاصرة القوات الموالية لعلي عبدالله صالح في عدن الكريتر, تم دفع خطوط التماس بعد المعركة الى ما بعد حدود المدينة. The Battle of Aden ended with the liberation of Aden Airport and the besieging of forces loyal to Ali Abdullah Saleh in Aden's Crater. After the battle, the front lines were pushed beyond the city limits. Red is popular resistance- Green is Saleh's Loyalists, Yellew is contested, note the Dotted lines in the crater area indicate the front lines of saleh's loyalists as the defense collapses.

At 1:15 p.m., the 13th Battalion commander, who had been fighting at nearby Moshav Netiv Ha’asara, arrived to coordinate air and ground forces, restoring operational control of the area.

بحلول الساعة 8:30 صباحًا، انتهى القتال في القاعدة، حيث قُتل المهاجمون أو عادوا إلى قطاع غزة. وبدأ معظم الجنود بالخروج من القاعدة في هذه المرحلة. وفي الساعة 10:30 صباحًا، تسلل نحو 100 مهاجم من حركة الجهاد الإسلامي في فلسطين وفلسطينيين آخرين غير منتمين لأي فصيل إلى القاعدة، وقاموا بأعمال نهب وحرق. _____ By 8:30 a.m., the fighting at the base had concluded, with the attackers either killed or having returned to the Strip. Most of the soldiers began to exit the base at this stage. At 10:30 a.m., around 100 attackers from the Palestinian Islamic Jihad and other unaffiliated Palestinians infiltrated the base and carried out looting and arson.
