Two new Humaniratian bases have been observed being built in the Rafah area for some time now, and there also appears to be work being done to expand the Kerem Shalom crossing. This may be part of the preparation of the area to receive civilians in the near future. في الساعة 1:15 ظهرًا، وصلت قوات إضافية من ماجلان إلى خارج ناحال عوز، برفقة أفراد من وحدة الاستطلاع التابعة للواء جفعاتي، وقاموا بتقسيم المستوطنة لتنسيق القتال بشكل أفضل. في الساعة 1:45 ظهرًا، بدأت القوات بتفتيش الكيبوتس، بحلول الساعة 5:30 مساءً، تم تطهير الكيبوتس من المهاجمين, مما يعني نهاية المعركة. _____ At 1:15 PM, additional Maglan forces arrived outside Nahal Oz, accompanied by members of the Givati Brigade's reconnaissance unit, and divided the settlement to better coordinate the fighting. At 1:45 PM, the forces began searching the kibbutz. By 5:30 PM, the kibbutz was cleared of attackers, signifying the end of the battle.

الساعة 6:29 صباحًا اخترق المهاجمون الحدود من 114 نقطة، أربعة منها بالقرب من الكيبوتس.تسلل الهجوم الاولي عبر المدخل الخلفي الجنوبي للكيبوتس بالقرب من حظيرة الأبقار. دخل المهاجمون المنطقة السكنية (حي الحقول الجديد).خاضت الوحدة الأمنية الخاصة بالمستوطنة ووحدة شرطة مكافحة الإرهاب "ياماس" قتالًا شرسًا، مما أسفر عن مقتل العديد من المهاجمين، على مدار الساعات الثلاث التالية، خاض ضباط "ياماس" المتبقون والوحدة الأمنية الخاصة بالمستوطنة، ونجحوا في صد معظم الهجوم الأولي. ______ At 6:29 a.m., the attackers breached the perimeter from 114 points, four of which were near the kibbutz. The initial attack infiltrated through the southern rear entrance of the kibbutz, near the cow pen. The attackers entered the residential area (the New Fields neighborhood). The settlement's special security unit and the "Yamas" counter-terrorism police unit engaged in fierce fighting, killing several of the attackers. Over the next three hours, the remaining "Yamas" officers and the settlement's special security unit fought on and successfully repelled most of the initial attack.

**With** the beginning of the large-scale attack on Nahal Oz and its base (formerly 1, 2, 4), at 6:42 a.m., 6 Hamas members landed on 3 paragliders in Kafr Aza (3) under the cover of intense missile bombardment. It appears that they helped open the gates in the kibbutz. Unlike other towns attacked on October 7, fighting in Kafr Aza, a town of about 950 people, continued for days after the initial attack, with some attackers holed up in kibbutz homes for days after the initial incursion.

On the morning of October 7, 2023, during a Hamas attack on Israel, approximately 100 militants reached Kibbutz Alumim, a border settlement with Gaza. At 7:01 a.m., ten militants on five motorcycles infiltrated the kibbutz through a back entrance, they reached the kibbutz's main entrance, adjacent to Highway 232. When the militants reached the kibbutz entrance and the nearby Alumim Junction at 7:14 a.m. they opened fire on more than 20 partygoers who had fled the Nova Festival. A police officer who arrived at the scene engaged the militants, wounding their leader. Simultaneously, Golani Brigade soldiers arrived and exchanged fire with the same group of militants, halting the attack. At around 10:45 a.m, another group of some 15 Hamas Combatants infiltrated the kibbutz from the back entrance, heading for the industrial and agricultural area in the south of Alumim. The terrorists set fire to the kibbutz’s barns and packing center. At 11:40 a.m, soldiers of the Paratroopers Brigade’s 890th Battalion were airlifted to the Alumim area by helicopters. After disembarking, the troops exchanged fire with Combatants outside Alumim. The attack on Be'eri began shortly after 6:30 a.m. on October 7 and was largely over by the evening of October 8, although some operatives remained in the area and were killed or captured by Israeli forces until October 9. Amid a barrage of rockets fired at Israel, the first Hamas operatives breached the border fence at 6:30 a.m. (1 on map). They attacked two tanks positioned at the so-called "Baga" military base (2), located on the border directly opposite the kibbutz. The attackers used RPGs and explosive-laden drones. "One of the tanks was damaged by Hamas fire, and its crew members were killed and their bodies seized. The second tank advanced northward and engaged a number of terrorists, but it too was hit, and its crew members were killed, except for the driver." The surviving Israeli forces at the Baga base continued to fight the invading elements, and were unable to protect Be'eri, while other forces stationed in the area went to fight the attackers at Nahal Oz, leaving the kibbutz undefended.
