Battle of Sderot-(1)-معركة سديروت

في صباح السابع من أكتوبر/تشرين الأول 2023، اقتحم 41 مسلحًا فلسطينيًا مدينة سديروت الجنوبية، الواقعة على بُعد أقل من ميل واحد من حدود قطاع غزة، وسط هجوم قادته حماس، ما أسفر عن مقتل عشرات المدنيين ورجال الشرطة. وفي السابع من أكتوبر/تشرين الأول، انتشر نحو ألف جندي إسرائيلي في سديروت، المدينة التي يبلغ عدد سكانها 38 ألف نسمة، حيث كان المسلحون يختطفون ويرتكبون مجازر بحق مئات المدنيين والعديد من التجمعات السكنية الصغيرة القريبة من الحدود، والتي وصلت إليها القوات بعد ساعات. وبقي مئات الجنود في المدينة حتى بعد توقف عمليات الاقتحام. ___ "On the morning of October 7, 2023, 41 Palestinian terrorists invaded the southern city of Sderot, located less than a mile from the border with the Gaza Strip, amid the Hamas-led onslaught, murdering dozens of civilians and police officers."
