Map of WW2 Nazi Loot Treasure Buried in the Netherlands (#1)
by History
Map recently released by National Archives of the Netherlands. Location: Ommeren, Netherlands. **That treasure hasn't been found yet**. Dutch report translates: *" 'Schatkaart Ommeren NL-HaNA 2.09.49 - N.925'. Documents concerning the investigation into the precious stones and coins (Schat-Lienden) buried near Ommeren and Lienden (Betuwe), which were robbed in Arnhem in August 1944, 1946-1947."* **Note - Map#1**: First attempt of geolocation - still under verification. Probably new version further. Map's geolocation is only approximate, there are certainly some displacements, since it's an original hand drawn map with inherent distortions. Main paths can be recognized on traces of contemporary roads.
