Smoke Rising from Dubai International Airport - Mar 16th ,2026

Satellite imagery shows a plume of smoke rising from the Dubai International Airport following a drone strike on the 16th of March 2026. The strike caused a large fuel-tank fire which can be seen burning from space. Landsat-8/9 image courtesy of the U.S. Geological Survey.
