Smoke Rising from Port of Salalah, Oman - Mar 16th ,2026

Satellite imagery shows a plume of smoke rising from the Port of Salalah following strikes on oil storage infrastructure on the 11th of March 2026. The fire still active after nearly a week. This port is one of the country’s largest and busiest maritime hubs. This imagery was combined with heat detection imagery to show the fire near the start of the smoke.
