Unusual signs at North Korea's 5MW reactor

Recently, a large amount of water vapor accompanied by intense heat was observed emitting from the cooling tower stack of the 5MW reactor located in the Yongbyon nuclear complex in North Korea. It remains unknown whether this indicates a final high-power operations phase in the fuel cycle or a movement to discharge spent nuclear fuel.
