Oil Slick traveled to Qeshm Island - Aug 10th, 2026

Satellite Imagery shows an oil slick has now made it to Qeshm Island. The slick first appeared in the Strait of Hormuz, traveling north. According to Reuters, "A vessel was struck by an unknown projectile 18 nautical miles east of Oman's Khasab, causing a fire that was extinguished" which may be the original cause of the slick.
